As a die-hard Andy Mineo fan, I listened to the entire II: The Sword album the day it came out. But I distinctly remember laying in bed late at night when this song came on as the close to the album. Near the beginning, it was beautiful, catchy, and poetic. I remember smiling at how good it sounded in my headphones, but then my smile faded as the song reached it's halfway mark. The rest of the song left me quiet, with a lump in my throat.       Not only that, but many people online feel the same way I did.  Hello world, my name is Shadrach. I am a pretty stellar person. I love to spend time outside doing crazy things like running, mountain biking, rock climbing, or sitting on the ground and thinking. I have spent most of my life in Juneau, AK, but have also lived many other places in the US like Missouri, Iowa, Texas, and Connecticut. I have recently gotten into watching the TV show Dragon Ball Z, it's pretty comical, and a lot of fun, here's a picture from that (the Dragon Ball Z soundtrack is actually pretty hype). Other than that I have always loved jamming out to music, and am really excited about this class. In high school, I played trumpet, baritone, and slide trombone. And while I was in both the concert band and jazz band, I loved the jazz band the most. I really like ska music currently, and I think that my jazz band days had a big influence on that.
